Young Research Travel Grant

The organizers of PSE 2018 have secured funds from the National Science Foundation to support the participation of about 30 young researchers (graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty).

Applications are due no later than May 21, 2018. The award winners will be notified by June 1, 2018.

Applications are encouraged from all junior researchers planning to attend the PSE 2018 conference, but due to the limited number of awards available, it is unlikely that multiple awards will be possible for a single group/laboratory.

Application Procedure

Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows need to submit the following as a single PDF file to Professor Mario Eden, (edenmar@auburn.edu):

  • A brief nomination/recommendation letter written by your supervisor
  • Current curriculum vitae

Junior faculty members need to submit a single PDF file to Professor Mario Eden, (edenmar@auburn.edu) containing:

  • Cover letter
  • Current curriculum vitae

In either category, if you are presenting a paper/poster at the conference, the complete title of your contributed paper and paper ID number should be included in your application.
